TYREGUARD 400 TPMS (4 Sensors) KIT (Part #1015)

The Tyre / Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) is a universal fit product that allows for constant Monitoring of a vehicle’s Tyre / Tire Pressure & Temperature.  The system can receive wireless information from up to 22 wheels or 4 wheels with a pressure range of 0 to 145 psi and operating distance of 16 meters with the use of a booster or 8 meters without.

*Note: the kit comes with 4 sensors only. We also have the following kits:

• 6 sensor kit (part #1017)
• 8 sensor kit (Part #1019)
• Additional sensors available in packs of 2 (Part #1016) or individually (Part #1011)

 After programming the ideal psi for each tire into the monitor, a transmitter is attached to each wheel’s valve stem in sequence. Various Levels of warnings are issued for pressure changes (under & over), high temperatures and low battery status.

Additional Features:

• Trailer disconnect function: Stops Trailer sensors from showing errors when disconnected
• Dual pressure function: Provides Standard and Low-pressure settings
• Force Update: Zeros all pressure readings
• Delete all sensors: Clears all sensor alignments

 

Alarm Notifications:

1. Rapid leak: Pressure drops more than 3 Psi in 2 minutes  
2. Slow leak: Pressure drops more than 3 Psi in 2 - 10 minutes  
3. Low pressure level 1: Pressures falls below 85% set pressure
4. Low Pressure level 2: Pressures falls below 75% set pressure
5. Low Pressure level 3: Pressures falls below 50% set pressure
6. High Pressure level: Rise 120% above set Pressure
7. High temperature: Above 65C (149F) and 75 C (167F)
8. Loss of Signal: monitor does not receive sensor signal for 30 minutes

TPMS Sensor Protective Tip

To help protect your vehicle’s Sensors and caps from stone damage & tapping on the wheel rim which may fracture the Sensor battery cradles,  a piece of ½” heater hose fits snugly over the cap and valve stem with the small amount of the cap protruding. This is a very economical and successful option to place on all Sensors.
