The Aerpro CBB3F1L 6dBi 477mHz black elevated feed UHF antenna is compatible with all brands of 477MHz UHF CB radios in Australia and New Zealand. With 6dBi gain, this medium gain antenna is a great all round performing antenna. The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna, making it ideal for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands.
The 945mm length antenna features a black solid fibreglass whip mounted to a black elevated feed base which is fitted with a medium duty black coated stainless steel spring. It's perfect for installing on all vehicles, including those that are prone to vibration such as trucks, agricultural machinery and off-road 4WDs. The antenna is ground independent which means it can be mounted virtually anywhere on the vehicle while maintaining a stable radiation pattern.
The elevated feed design helps raise the radiation pattern above the vehicle roof and other obstructions to ensure high performance when mounted on a vehicle roof gutter, guard or bullbar.
