HardKorr 3-Metre Kinetic Recovery Rope - 12,000kg Minimum Breaking Strength Rated - HKRKINRP3
Known for its incredible elastic qualities, these ropes have been constructed from a 100% synthetic blend known as Nylon-66, which allows HardKorr's ropes to elongate up to 30% in length. This feature allows the rope to multiply the strength produced by the tow vehicle and reduces the strain put on the recovery points of both vehicles by limiting the jolting action that naturally occurs during the recovery.
Made to last, HardKorr kinetic ropes are highly abrasion resistant and are designed to withstand the extreme stresses typically involved with recoveries. Finished with a durable nylon fabric sheath and a reinforced PVC-based coating on the eyes at each end of the rope, this is one piece of equipment that'll be a mainstay in your recovery kit for years to come.
Rated to 12,000kg! Determined in a large-scale lab test, the Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) figure is determined by taking the measurement of the weakest sample when it first starts to tear, rip, or break. It's recommended that the MBS of any recovery rope used should be at least 2-3 times the gross weight of the vehicle that's being recovered.
